Paid Summer Internship – Technical Support

Our Evanston, Illinois-based transportation consulting firm is looking for a full-time/part-time Technical Support Summer Intern. You’ll be working alongside office staff in providing technical and administrative support. Pay rate is $12-$16 per hour depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Managing computers and mobile devices
• Installing and maintaining software
• Supporting staff with technical assistance
• Ensuring digital safety and security

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
• Previous experience with office equipment
• Previous experience with modern computer hardware/software

• Communicating technical knowledge in nontechnical terms
• Able to adapt to a fast changing work environment
• Integrating different computer operating systems (Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux) and different mobile devices (iOS and Android)
• Getting things done in a timely fashion
• Keeping up to date with the current technology trends and methods of IT management
